Reaching the lost and growing the saved

Stewardship Department

Purpose of the Stewardship Department

To teach that Christian stewardship is the believer's grateful and obedient response to God's love-a love that creates, redeems and sustains.  To teach believers that stewardship is the working of the Holy Spirit through the scriptures to direct and enable the believer to manage resources that God has given to them.  To help members carry out the spirit of our church covenant ("To give cheerfully and regularly to the support of the ministry, relief of the poor, the expenses of the church and the spread of the lost with the gospel throughout all nations").

Mission:
To help believers understand Christian stewardship in accordance to the Holy Scriptures by providing:

  • Stewardship Classes
  • Financial Seminars
  • Management Workshops
  • How to effectively manage other God given resources and wealth
  • To educate believers on God's word regarding tithing of our Time, Money, Resources, and Talents

Vision:

That every Templelite: New and Old members; Seniors, Adults, Youth, and Children; as well as the Grandale Community is educated in accordance to the Holy Scriptures about stewardship. As a result, members will understand the important of giving in accordance to God's requirements.
